Setting Up Your Account using the Account Wizard

To access MS Outlook, go to the Start menu and choose Programs from the pop-up menu selection. Locate MS Outlook and open the program.

Step 1) From MS Outlook2000, click on Tools menu, and select Accounts option. Then click on Mail tab, then select the Add button and go to the Mail

Step 2) This action will activate the Inter Connection Wizard. In the first screen, type your name in the Display name: field then click the Next button to continue.

Step 3) Enter your email address in the E-mail address field then click the Next button to continue the setup.

Step 3) Leave the incoming mail server name set to the POP3 selection. Type in the Incoming mail (POP3) or (IMAP) server field. Type in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field.then click the Next button to continue the setup.

Step 4) Type your account name in the field text box (your account name is your email address. Please make sure that it is correctly entered. The mail server is case sensitive). Type your password in the bottom text box the click on the Next button to continue.

Step 5) If you are using a dial-up modem to connect to, select the top selection (Connect using my phone line). If you have a dedicated account choose the middle selection (Connect using my local are network (LAN)). Click the Next button.

Step 6) Click the Finish button to complete the setup. You can now start using Outlook 2000 with!
